Well, I wouldn't actually want to swim in a lake of hydro-carbons...it would more than likely be pretty thick and sticky...

On the other hand, being the first human to drown on Titan would be quiet cool - but also pathetic.

I'm sure all of you have heard the expression; "If a tree falls in the wood and there's no one around to hear it, does it make a sound?"

There is the obvious way to look at it, it falls and hits the floor, so of course it makes a sound, both as the trunk cracks, and when the mass of the tree strikes the floor. I first thought of this when I was about 7, and never thought any different.

It's a real shame that, even in this day and age, and photograph still cannot substitute being there in real life. The biggest problem with this, is in space. I've linked to many space based pictures over the past months, all of which have been - in my opinion at least, impressive - this never giving a true sense of being of scale.

Unfortunately, this again, is going to be one of those times.
